L-e-C the colour is British Standard 18e50 which is named Cirrus blue but does look like a baby blue for sure.

It was warmer than 11 degrees today here Gary without heating on. The barn I am in is instulated and the booth is pretty well sealed so keeps a reasonable temperature at the moment but may need some heat later on in the month I suspect.
2k primer is what I am using and same for top coat.

Today was the day paint or the start of the painting process was started with the etch primer being applied to The Pests flanks. :D Got started at around 10.30 this morning and with final filling, masking up and panel wiping I got some etch primer on around 6.30/7.00pm this evening. _20191020_201158...

Cliff, Good point about blowing air in rather than sucking it out like I have it at the moment. Not that difficult to change as all I would need to do is reverse the fan as it is not fixed in a way that would make it difficult. I may look at it when I am next up at it. Cheers. John, You could well be correct there about the inbalance of the air flow in and out. Unfortunately I can't fit another to the intake. Not as much of a worry as it may look as the ballooning you see is where the car will enter the booth later next week hopefully and will be properly sealed up as it ...

Not much done with The Pest this weekend as I needed to catch up at work on Sunday but today I headed to the farm where I have been making up a spray booth. More or less complete apart from needing to order more filters as I feel like more will be better. I take filters x3 at the front of the booth....

Is it any different from how Rootes placed the Imp oil cooler though?
Behind a hot engine and also above the exhaust area?

Cliff, I am using MG TF T type front engine mounts from 1950-55, one either side onto the chassis rails and at the front where the gearbox mount is on a normal Imp I have adapted Fiesta gearbox mounts. Thats worrying Scott as the plate behind the alloy catch has been countersunk for the screws holding it on. Making me think it should be the other way round from how i have it now?

I forgot once i fitted the doors then the locks back on the door and body i had to slam the door shut which isnt great. Worse than that it was a right bother to open the door, enough to walk away and have a cuppa. Due to the doors being fibreglass the catch on the body didnt sit out far enough for t...
