Re: voting at national

Blimey - 5 pages of this - rock on. In 02 we did have some punters who picked the winners. This is a win as its really fast (as we only had 2 organisers and a handful of helpers this was almost essential), leaving more time to call the raffle, but no one liked it, probably as the same old shiny cars...

James's interpritation is seemingly correct. Dim-dip has ceased to be a requirement for cars anyway (not sure why). However, if you run sidelights, especially rubbish ones like on a standard imp, i can see good reason for the fuzz to stop you and ask why. Its not like you are driving a 1936 Austin 7...

Yes food will be available - BBQ's are fine - however disposables should be well lifted off the ground (not those metal things they come with) to avoid scorching of the grass - Sometimes the organisers have bricks available for 'hire' - check when you sign in

Oli, It is difficult for organisers to distribute maps, due to copyright reasons. Directions are as given on the above thread. You are right that the autodrome has no map or directions, although they do give the postcode, so by the magic of the interweb here is a map: http://routeplanner.rac.co.uk//...

Colin's not wrong about Imp's fording capabilities. I once went through a 1.5 foot deep flood, no problem. Well other than the water coming through the holes in the floor where i had removed the grommets! Should be good fun, and clean the underside for the show day on Sunday
