Information have now reached the continent (yes, we are far away)
Result from Brands Hatch By Box shows Imp drivers in 6 and 7 place after big cars and in front of even more big cars. That is remarkable!

Are Jack Knight the best or only konversion to be found? Is welding and strenghening or other things to the case not neccessary for the 100 hp engine.

Guys, would it be possible for us to bring our Period G ('71) cars over from Norway for races? If we swapped for the same tires you use? They are FIA cars, HTP, and probably a lot slower with less trick bits and more tempered engines. Only issue would be that we run wide arches. We'd love to meet u...

I was thinking about going to some races in late may/early June when I am in UK and do an inspection of the Imps moving fast under their own power. BUT in the HRSR homepage there where no calendar for 2012. Can anyone tell me abut any races in this period?

I surprised to see Andy and Steves windscreens steamed up, I tried years ago running a car without the heater with much the same result while understanding the need for lightness either a heated screen or even a 12V fan heater would not add any weight and avoid the problem. How does this work on Super 7-like car where there actually are no "seat". You sit in the structure, maybe some kind of "padding" if you are sensitive.

Classes D (1151 to 1300cc) and E (up to 1150cc) use HSCC own technical regulations, K6 (1001 to 1300cc) and K7 (851 to 1000cc) use FIA regs. There's also a class K8 for up to 850cc. Phew.... a lot. (Only Imps in class D? No 1150 minis?) Mistake: it was supposed top be: Only Imps in class E? No 1150...

Anyway. allowed or not, it is interesting to see what can be made. That 5-bearing crankshaft looks nice but terrible expensive. But can the 3-bearing crankshaft do the same job (with some modification?)
