Very sad news. That's John Homewood and Alex Clacher in the space of 6 months. Two of the fastest and most successful Imp drivers of all time. I well remember reading about Alex's exploits at Croft regularly beating most of the bigger engined cars in the outright results. My condolences to Alex's fa...

Your Imp looks fantastic, I love it! I've always had a soft spot for the simplicity of the early Rootes design with the Imp badge on the front and the green is lovely.

Have a great Christmas over there,

I thought I would put up some images of the Husky's travels around Christchurch after our devastating earthquakes in February 2011. Hi Tim, I use an R20 in my G15 for a combo of road, track and hillclimb and find it to be very flexible and forgiving as well as giving good performance. Andy Dawson who wrote "Dawsons Dodges" for the CCC magazine, always preferred it as the best all-round camshaft option for performance. I hope thi...

Like Paul says go for ARP bolts and you can reuse. Rods can let go if the bolts are poor quality but usually there are co-factors involved...careless torque down procedure, oil starvation, oil degradation, crankpin anomallies etc. Dead right. The pistons would give up the ghost well before the ARP ...
