I'll stick the photos in the post along with anything else I have.

Re: Imp project part 2

John, I think the guy who bought it off me painted it. I think you will find that the near side rear sill extension will have a pop riveted repair finished off with some instant panel! Other than that it was really sound. From what I know it's been stored inside so shouldn't have deteriorated too mu...

Re: Imp project part 2

Just read your posts again John. If it's the same engine that was in it when I sold it you have a good one. It wasnt a standard L4. At the time, a well known Imp guy in Glasgow gave me the engine and told me it would make my wee Imp fly! I never stripped it and I have no idea what it was, but sure e...

Re: Imp project part 2

I'm glad this wee car is going to a good home. I have too many other projects on the go, otherwise I would have been tempted to bid. I passed my test in it 1989! At that time it was metallic bronze. To be honest, it's probably the only reason I passed my test. The examiner was more interested in tal...

Nothing so complicated as a relay - you have a blown bulb.

How are you getting on with the 28/36?

Well done on the Stiletto! I've heard about this car on and off for years. It turns out it was only a couple of miles away from me.

I had heard that it was a pre production car.

It's amazing how they still keep cropping up.

Chris,

I last saw it three or four years ago sitting at the side of a house just outside Strathblane near Glasgow.

It's a while since I've been out that direction. I might go for a blast next week and see if there's any sign of it! Imp006

I've just returned to Clan ownership and would like to try sprints or hillclimbs at some point. Is the blue book available on-line? I've got loads to do to make the car roadworthy again so now's the time to read up on the reg's I suppose.
