Does anybody want to buy my place off of me? I've decided I'm (probably) leaving the club, don't have enough days of holiday and probably won't have a car in time. I have already sent my cheque to Al for this so if anyone's interested, get in touch via PM and we'll sort out you taking my place (it w...

I'm in, but won't be paying until right at the last minute for good reasons (not to be awkward!).

I should imagine as a winter smoke around that car would be brilliant. Before I sold it, it had: New condenser New points New dizzy cap New rotor arm New air filter New fuel filter plus the connecting fuel hoses Pair of brand new Lotus comp rotoflexes (proper ones, not the ones with square holes or ...

How about asking Dr Darangus The Dark Minded Daffodil Man and His Collection of Crude Crocdiles if they could do a set? I've heard they're good.

Or, even better, try to pursuade Tony Flow and the Miraculously Majestic Masters of Mayhem to come along and play........

Al, This letter in the mag that the geezer had written said the code number for the bus transaxle was 091 (4-speed) and 094 (5-speed). I think it was just for RWD versions. Apparently the casing is made of magniesium. I have no idea if these could possibly be used in an Imp (probably not) but from a...

The idea of fitting a 5-speeder to my fast road car is one that keeps coming back time and time again. I think it probably will until I actually do something about it! Thing is, for a road car (being used for every journey, so high-ish mileage), I can't imagine a JK 5-speeder with dog gears would be...

Sounds like you had a laugh, man. I've often had this same problem in road conditions - it's always bugged me that the engine screams away and I (personally) have always felt a 5th gear would help. Jack-Knight are still around and they have told me that although they don't keep any Imp parts on the ...

Al, How you doin' buddy? Right, suspension: I've got the Millington 'Tuning Imps' book around somewhere and I know there's a diagram in there (which I could scan and send direct to you) of which parts need extra bracing across them. I think it mentions the suspension crossmember as well. I have the ...

I think the bottom line is, if you've got any of the parts listed above, bring 'em along to National if they're reusable. Best thing might just be to find Bob and he'll be able to point you in the right direction. I really don't think there's any need for the backlash, personally. This one is about ...

TIM sell a 52mm tacho and you can buy a small pod to mount it with. People with roads cars sometimes mount them in the Chammy dash. Or, most people seem to buy the pod and stick it just to the right of the binnacle. John Simister's road Chammy has this and it looks neat. Of course, with the pod, you...
