Re: Karen's Imp Sport

I can see why the floor panels are popular, we are just in the early stages of organising another press run of floors, we are getting low again on floor stock which means we have sold nearly 45 pairs now. We were expecting these to be a slow seller and take several years to sell the first batch. For...

I think it's safe to say that once finished this is going to be done to a far higher standard than when it left the factory :D

Excellent work.

Re: Sunbeam Sport, making progress

Originally has never been something I'm overly worried about. I'm certainly not going to fit those awful falling off lenses on it. I'm probably going to make my own interior panels for it from some real wood, that seems like it might get a nice result. I'll let you know if I change my mind. Not sure...

At the end of the day any time you post something online there is a chance you will get some negativity and some that borders on trolling but usually the response is overwhelmingly positive. The colour is haze blue metallic and looms even better in person than it does in pictures. I think it would b...

Re: ONY649E - Trackday imp

No immediate plans to do any racing on the basis that it's rather expensive. At least with trackday use I can get it up and running and I only need to be able to be fast enough to have fun, for racing everything would have to be rebuilt to the highest standard. + the high chance of some body damage ...

Pete - yes the two class wins at Brands were enough for my dad to clinch the championship for the first time since '07. Even I was shocked at the sheer number of junior hacksaws that my dad had living in the bottom of his tool box, I think you used 4 different ones in the end to trim that bolt. Some...

Re: HSCC Race Series 2015

There were three Imps out yesterday at Donington, Simon Benoy, Steve Platts and Adrian Oliver. Adrian sadly had to retire on the first lap however it looked like the other two Imps were going to have a great race running together. Sadly a mini decided to get in the way of this by punting Steve off a...

Re: Finally an Imp owner

I was going to go for the cowardly strategy of never taking it out in the rain. However it wouldn't hurt to give it some proper cavity wax. It will be done.

It would be good to see you if you did make a Stevenage AC meet, has been a while, reasonable though given the distance. :)

Just finished making a dash for the clan, possibly a bit of a marmite option but I like it :D I always thought the fiesta dash and gauges were awful so I've been looking to change the dash. 1. You are correct, chin spoiler does need to be removed. 2. Yes the rear rad rules state that you need a radiator with top tank and cooling core, however, almost every car has a different setup here, we run a cut down rad but various cars have a separate swirl pot/header tank and then something lik...

The engine planned for it is an over bored 930 bottom end which is now about 949cc or something similar, I have a sport head and cam to go on this so it should be fairly quick initially if not absolutely rapid.
