Well done on winning the clas last year Stuart, and setting some great times along the way, particularly at MIRA. New family kept me out last year but I might do a bit again this year, probably in the G15 as I've sold most of the best bits off my Imp now. Pity we've lost class N, a few of us have co...

I'd echo all the previous replies - the regs for speed events are actually quite relaxed for roadgoing cars, it's up to you whether you fit a cage and extinguisher. I never carry an extinguisher as there are always marshalls within a few seconds of you, and I've done many events in cars without cage...

I've got an entry, only Imp again so merged with the Clans and Davrians. OK, so where are we all with our cars for this year?? Mine is still in the garage, not a jot of work done over the winter, exactly the same spec as last year, except I'm going to get the Webers rebuilt at Solomon and Mayson if I can afford it - fed up of the car doing 20 mpg and ticking over at 2500...

Maybe some slightly softer pads on the front Keith? For those of you that don't know Keith had some issues with locking brakes at MIRA on Saturday and spun at the right hander after the speed trap - as a result he accidently started an experiment to see if a 998 will run backwards!! Glad to hear the...

Three important points on costs- What someone else has spent isn't necessarily a good guide to what you will have to spend - you need to know their full story. What someone advertises a car for isn't necessarly what it's worth or what it will sell for. If you start from scratch, all the little bits ...

What it all boils down to is enjoying yourself and I think like me you've got the right attitude. Absolutely Pete - we don't do it for the money after all.
