I was a bit dissapointed I didn't get any style points for me revolutionaly air braking technique!

The rain made it more fun although a working handbrake would have helped no end!

The washers sit half against the exhaust manifold and half on the inlet manifold, so they are tight on the exhaust but not on the inlet. Also because the manifold has much bigger pipes the washers I've used had to be smaller to fit.

I thought I'd give my Imp a test drive tonight before driving down tomorrow. I made it half a mile and my inlet manifold fell off!! :lol: :lol: I'm using a 28/36 banana manifold but it clearly doesn't sit right and seams to be thinner than the exhuast manifold so the bolts only clamp that properly. ...

My Imp is fubared! It maxed out at 55mph on the motorway yesturday! :lol: I think the cronic lack of compression is starting to ruin its top end performance ... and its mid range ... and its low end performance come to think of it! It will hopefully make it to Reading, purely because the engine does...
